By booking any photography service with Memory Jar (trading under Prow Productions Limited), including weddings, events, family, couple, or pet photoshoots, you agree to the following terms and conditions. A booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.

1. Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure your booking.

• Your date or session is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

• The remaining balance is due no later than 28 days before the session date (for weddings and larger bookings).

• For shorter photoshoots, full payment may be required in advance.

Payments are accepted via bank transfer only. Payment details will be provided upon booking.

2. Pricing & Coverage

• All sessions include a curated gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution images.

• The total number of photographs and shoot length will be outlined in your deposit invoice.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• All deposits are non-refundable.

• If you cancel within 28 days of your wedding or scheduled session, the full remaining balance may still be payable.

If you need to reschedule:

• Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate a new date, subject to availability.

In the unlikely event that Memory Jar is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances:

• A replacement photographer may be arranged where possible, or

• A full refund of any payments made will be issued.

4. Image Delivery

• Final edited images will be delivered within up to 8 weeks (often sooner depending on the session).

• Images are delivered via an online gallery/download link in high resolution.

5. Copyright & Usage

• All images remain the copyright of Memory Jar.

• Images may be used for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes.

Optional Full Copyright Purchase

If you wish to purchase full copyright ownership:

• This must be agreed prior to booking and payment of the deposit.

• A separate agreement and fee will apply at the photographer’s discretion.

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible experience and results:

• Clients agree to cooperate during the session or event.

• Any specific requests, key moments, or restrictions should be communicated in advance.

• Clients are responsible for ensuring access, permissions, and cooperation of venues or participants where required.

7. Additional Coverage

If additional time is requested for wedding bookings:

• £300 per hour (pre-arranged in advance)

• £375 per hour (requested on the day)

Additional time is subject to availability and will be invoiced accordingly.

8. Image Storage & Backup

• Final images are stored for 3 months after delivery.

• After this period, files may no longer be available including client’s viewing galleries which should be downloaded upon receiving.

Clients are strongly encouraged to download and back up their images promptly.
While care is taken to store files securely, Memory Jar cannot guarantee long-term storage beyond this timeframe.

9. Limitation of Liability

Memory Jar will not be held liable for circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Severe weather or travel disruption

• Venue or guest restrictions

• Equipment failure (backup equipment will be used where possible)

• Theft, fire, or other unforeseen events

All reasonable steps will always be taken to deliver your images and experience to the highest standard.

10. Agreement to Terms

By paying a deposit and confirming your booking, you acknowledge that:

• You have read and understood this policy

• You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
